The Food Centre boasts six fully-equipped kitchen units for hire. These commercial kitchens can be hired at a daily rate for businesses that want to use the Centre occasionally (or on a more regular basis but not full-time), or can be hired full-time.

Day hire

The prices for day renting a kitchen are as follows:

Single kitchen (one 3-phase socket*) - £90 + VAT per day
Double kitchen (two 3-phase sockets) - £120 + VAT per day
Triple kitchen (three 3-phase sockets) - £150 + VAT per day

Please note that if you are using the Centre for the first time as a day renter you will receive one day free of charge in order to complete an induction. We will go through our policies and procedures and show you how to use the Centre's equipment. We will also show you our cleaning routines.

* 3-phase sockets are used by major appliances. All kitchens are also equipped with single-phase sockets, and we can supply you with adapters if you want to bring in your own equipment that currently has three pin sockets attached.


Full time hire

As a full-time kitchen renter you will hold a license agreement rather than being tied down to a lease. This means that if at any time you decide that the Food Centre is no longer suited to your needs, you can terminate the agreement with one month's notice.

You will also be required to undergo an induction.
